Police: Woman in Lexus Chased Down Neighbor and Her Toddlers

She allegedly told police she was "suing [her neighbor] for one million dollars."

A Phoenixville woman faces multiple charges after a series of bizarre April incidents during which police say she chased down a neighbor and her two young boys in her Lexus in an apparent attempt to intimidate them.

On November 21, VL Laurie Williams, 54, was charged with three counts of simple assault, six counts of harassment, and two counts of stalking.

According to court documents, the trouble began on April 24 sometime before 6 p.m. when Williams’ neighbor, a resident of the unit block of Casselberry Lane, told police she went on a bicycle ride on her street with her two toddler sons attached in a trailer.

The woman that after they passed Williams standing in the driveway of her Spruce Grove Lane home, she got into her Lexus and began “flying” towards the three of them. The woman swerved out of the way and Williams passed, but then she turned around in the woman’s driveway and doubled back towards them. This time the Lexus came so close to the bike, the woman said there would have been a collision had she not pulled out of the way.

Later that evening, police interviewed Williams about the incident and, after they informed her there were children in the trailer she replied “who cares…[expletive] them.” She went on to tell the officer she was “suing them for a million dollars” because they were “trying to take her land rights away from her.”

On April 26, Williams is alleged to have done several three-point turn in the woman’s driveway, deliberately driving on her grass in the process. When Williams saw the woman had left her house and was standing in the driveway to watch her, Williams exited her car and began picking up sticks.

On April 29, a third incident is alleged to have occurred. The woman was walking with her sons when Williams began berating her, threatening that she was going to sue her for “one million dollars” and the family’s boat.

VL Laurie Williams faces preliminary hearing on December 6.
