A woman is charged with felony retail theft after police say she absconded with more than $450 worth of groceries from Giant on Nutt Road.

A Royersford woman faces two felony charges after police say she left a grocery store with out paying and then, while fleeing security in her vehicle, collided with a car in the parking lot.

According to police, Debra Rojinsky, 56, walked out of the supermarket at 700 Nutt Road in Phoenixville with a cart full of groceries without paying, according to a criminal complaint. The alleged incident occurred on Oct. 9 shortly before 7:24 p.m.

“The defendant was confronted by security outside the store at the curb by the entrance,” Officer John Doucette of Phoenixville Police Department wrote.
