Reports: Phoenixville Native Died in Chester County Crash
The crash occurred late Tuesday night.
A Phoenixville native was killed in a one-vehicle crash in London Grove Township in Chester County late Tuesday evening, according to reports.
According to Delaware Online, Gary S. Smith Jr., 34, failed to negotiate a curve and lost control of his 2010 Jeep Wrangler on State Road. The sport-utility vehicle left the road and struck several trees, state police told Delaware Online.
Smith, who lived in West Grove, is a graduate of Phoenixville Area High School and attended CAT Pickering. Smith is survived by his wife of eight years as well as a son and daughter. A memorial fund has been set up to support his children:
