Reports: Phoenixville Native Found Dead in Baltimore

There were no signs of foul play in the death of Emily Hauze, who was found at the bottom of a trash chute, according to the Baltimore Sun.

According to reports from The Baltimore Sun, a woman in her early 20s whose body was found at the bottom of a trash chute in a Baltimore apartment building has been idenitfied as Emily Hauze, a Phoenixville native.

A source says Hauze is a 2006 graduate of Phoenixville Area High School. Social networking profiles for Hauze list her home as Phoenixville.

A crime reporter for The Sun posted the idenitfication on Twitter on Monday afternoon. According to the paper, the death was ruled accidental, and Hauze's body was found at approximately 8:12 a.m. on Sunday morning. The reporter added that Hauze is a recent graduate of Loyola College, and said a Mass will be held on campus tonight in her memory.

The Sun reports that Hauze was the second person to be found dead in the trash chute. A man fell down the chute and into the trash compactor in the same building in August 2010, according to reports.
