Cocaine, Brass Knuckles Found in Home Search, Police Say

Phoenixville Police executed the search warrant late last month.

A 21-year-old Phoenixville man faces drug charges after police found cocaine, marijuana, and a pair of brass knuckles during a search of his Penn Street home, according to police.

According to court documents, on Jan. 31 at 6:30 p.m., Phoenixville Police executed a search warrant on a home at 123 Penn Street.  In the defendant’s bedroom, police say they found a baggie containing cocaine in a dresser drawer next to a pair of brass knuckles. Next to a television, officers said they then found marijuana seeds.

Based on this evidence, on Feb. 7 police filed a weapons charge against the man as well as additional counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. He faces preliminary hearing on March 7.
