Teen Allegedly Robbed at Gunpoint on Penn Street

According to Phoenixville Police, an acquaintance pointed a handgun at the boy and demanded he hand over everything he had.

A Phoenixville man robbed a teenager at gunpoint last week, police are reporting.

According to court documents, on January 30 at approximately 3:45 p.m. a 17-year-old male was approached by Dallas Jeffrey Young, 18, in front of a home on the 10 block of Penn Street.

The teen knew Young from previous encounters, and the pair spoke briefly before Young asked the victim to follow him to the back of the house. Once there, Young allegedly pulled out a black handgun and demanded the victim give him “everything he’s got.” The victim handed over $75 of the $95 he had, and told Young he needed the rest. Young repeated his demand and the teen handed over the last $20.
