Both victims were in the black Mercury that collided with the traffic light support and the sign at Phoenixville Hospital. A woman in the second vehicle, which police said was a Mitsubishi Eclipse, was uninjured and she was able to drive the car from the crash scene.

The man and woman in the black Mercury were able to walk to the ambulance following the accident, which caused the airbags to deploy. Police didn't know the extent of the injuries.
