Two Nights, Two Break-Ins at Local Stores

Burglar leaves big clue right outside one store's door.

East Pikeland police are looking for suspect in two burglaries that happened Monday and Tuesday.

Tuesday Incident

According to police On or about 3:00 A.M. on Tuesday Police received a call about a burglar alarm going off at Queen Appliance located in the 700 block of Pike Springs Road . When officers  went to investigate they discovered the front door had been pried open and someone had gotten into the store.

The burglar went into the office area and removed an undetermined amount of cash from a small cash box.

Snow is Not a Criminal's Friend

Police say foot prints left in the snow indicate that the burglar left the store heading south.

Monday Night Incident 

Sometime between Monday and Tuesday someone broke into Liki Sushi located in the 200 block of Schuylkill Road and removed a cash register with cash inside. Police say the burglar got in by prying open the rear door of the restaurant.
