There is one change this year, Spring and Fall, to polling place locations in the Borough, there are signs up about it- 472 Phoenixville E-1 From: Phoenixville Public Library, 183 Second Avenue, Phoenixville, PA To: Barkley Elementary School, Main Auditorium, 320 Second Avenue, Phoenixville, PA you can verify it here at the county website for Voter Services: http://www.chesco.org/election/lib/election/pdf/2012/2012_polling_place_changes.pdf

There is one paper sign taped to the upper part of the Library's outside door telling voters that the polling place was changed to Barkley Elementary School. I saw no other notices, news articles in any of the papers, or "notices" on the Borough Web Site. For some reason, this change is a "secret", and harmful to older voters (and others) who walk to the Library to vote. Parking near "Barkley Elementary" is worse than at the Library. Even new Trash Regulations got a "little" publicity before their big change.

Par for the course. With everything going on with the library boards and school board one has to wonder. Didn't the library director just write an op- ed last week about how accomodating the library is to the public. lol

Notice of the polling place change is the responsibility of Chester County Voter Services, not the Borough and not the library.
