Drucker Receives Planned Parenthood Endorsement

The following press release was sent by the Paul Drucker campaign. Drucker is running for State Representative for the 157th District.

Paul Drucker, candidate for State Representative in the 157th District has been endorsed by Planned Parenthood of Pennsylvania Political Action Committee.

“Planned Parenthood PA PAC is proud to endorse Paul Drucker for State Representative. We know Paul trusts women to make their own reproductive health decisions - he has a proven track record on these issues,” said Maggie Groff, Southeastern PA Director for the PP PA PAC.  “In this time of unprecedented attacks on women’s rights, health and safety, we need allies like Paul Drucker in Harrisburg.  We look forward to working with him in the months and years ahead.”

In a statement issued by his campaign, Paul Drucker said:

I am pleased and proud to have received Planned Parenthood’s endorsement.  As a former State Representative, I have always been a strong advocate for women’s health and reproductive rights.  This endorsement is a clear recognition of my hard work on behalf of women.

Recently, radicals in Harrisburg have been waging a war on women’s rights.  They have attempted to shut-down and de-fund women’s health clinics and have even gone as far as attempting to pass a requirement for an invasive and unnecessary trans-vaginal ultrasound prior to allowing women to exercise their right to choose.  This is unacceptable. Gov. Corbett  suggested that women ‘close their eyes’ while undergoing this procedure.  If elected, I will not close my eyes to this egregious assault on women.

Paul Drucker is the former Representative from the 157th District.  He is running to re-take the seat in the November General Election.  For more information on Paul Drucker and his campaign please visit www.Drucker2012.com.
