Construction Ahead on Major Area Road
Water Main construction will close road middays.
Aqua Pennsylvania will close Route 23 (Valley Forge Road) between Country Club Road and Valley Park Road in Schuylkill Township starting Monday, December 16 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for water main replacement. PennDOT says the weekday closure will be in effect through the end of March 2014.
Detour Planned
During this operation, Route 23 (Valley Forge Road) through traffic will be detoured over Country Club Road and Valley Park Road. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area.
