Gov. Corbett Pays Upper Providence a Visit

Gov. Tom Corbett was on hand to present a check to Upper Schuylkill Valley Park in Upper Providence on Wednesday afternoon.

Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett paid a visit to Upper Providence Township on Wednesday to present a check for $217,682 to the Upper Schuylkill Valley Park, located at 1600 Black Rock Road, on Wednesday afternoon. The check is a part of $31.5 million of grants issued statewide for parks and recreation preservation.
