Monday is Moving Day for Phoenixville Borough Hall
If you have township business try to get it done early Monday or wait until later in the week.
It's out of the old and into the new Monday for Phoenixville Borough government workers.
The 'old' Borough Hall, which opening in the mid-1960's will close at 2:30 p.m. Monday as workers pack their bags and boxes and computers and say goodbye to the building at 140 Church Street.
The new Borough Hall opens Tuesday morning at 351 Bridge Street, adjacent to the District Court building. The new building will house the Borough government, including the Phoenixville Police Department.
Borough Council will meet in the new council chambers on the third floor of the building Tuesday evening at 7 p.m.
The new building brings state of the art of computer and communication technology to the township's offices.
