Phoenixville Public Library Closing on August 20

The library will close for renovations.

The following release was provided by the Phoenixville Public Library. 

If you need to check out any books from Phoenixville Public Library do it now. The next phase of the renovation project calls for the Library to be closed from August 20 to Labor Day. It will reopen the day after Labor Day.

During the closure new carpet will be laid throughout the building, new circulation desks will be installed and the new doubled-in-size computer center will be made ready for the community.

The Library’s non-fiction collection will also return at this time and be made available on September 4. 

One can check Phoenixville Public Library’s Facebook page for updates on the renovation project as well as the Library Foundation’s website, www.pplfoundation.org

Don’t forget you can access the Library’s Over Drive system as well as its multiple databases from its website, www.phoenixvillelibrary.org.

When the Library reopens its hours will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, Friday, Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
