School Board Names New Library Trustees
Kim Moretti and William Vogel were approved to fill the two empty seats.
The two vacant seats on the ’s board of trustees were filled on June 21, as the Phoenixville Area School District Board of School Directors tapped Kim Moretti and William Vogel to take the roles.
The school board has the authority to name the trustees because it provides funding, in the amount of about $500,000 annually, to the library.

Vogel and Moretti were chosen from a group of five nominated candidates. Moretti, after securing a nomination, received eight “yes” votes and one abstention, while Vogel received five “yes” votes, two “no” votes, and two abstentions.
According to The Mercury, in the final vote, all nine board members voted to approve both Moretti and Vogel as trustees.
