Statement: Mailer Was Not Sent by Drucker Campaign

This is in response to a letter to the editor featured on Phoenixville Patch.

Editor's Note: The following comes from Drucker 2012 regarding that ran on Phoenixville Patch on Thursday, March 15. Send letters to the editor to lynn.jusinski@patch.com.

The recent mailer detailing Rep. Warren Kampf's voting record on senior issues was neither planned nor executed by the Drucker campaign.

As the mailer clearly indicates, Keystone Progress, an independent organization, sent and paid for the mailer. While we applaud this organization's efforts to hold Mr. Kampf accountable for his votes in Harrisburg, the Drucker Campaign was not involved in sending this mailer in any way.

In fact, neither Mr. Drucker, nor any member of his campaign staff were even aware of the mailer until a supporter who received the mailer passed it on to the campaign. Mr. Drucker disagrees greatly with Mr. Kampf on many of the issues and challenges facing the Commonwealth and looks forward to a robust debate on those issues in the coming months.
