Voter Registration Deadline Approaching

You have until March 26 to register to vote before the April primary election.

 

Monday, March 26 is the last day to register to vote before the April 24 primary election.

According to the Chester County Voter Services website, to register, voters must be 18 before the day of the elections, and have lived in Pennsylvania and in their election district for 30 days before the next primary.

For April’s General Election primary, only individuals who are registered as a political party can vote in that’s party’s primary.

During the 2012 general election, voters in Chester County will be electing the president of the United States, U.S. Senator, Attorney General, Auditor General, State Treasurer, Representative in the United States Congress, Senator in the General Assembly (odd-numbered districts), Representative in the General Assembly, and a Republican and Democratic delegate and alternative delegate to the National Convention.
