Poll Results: ‘Colonial Gardens’ Named Top Place for Plants

The people have spoken.

With a healthy plurality of the vote, Colonial Gardens—a late addition to —was named the top spot in Phoenixville to buy plants in our weekly reader’s choice poll.

The Schuylkill Road garden center, which keeps on offer a range of shrubs, trees, vegetables, herbs, annuals, and perennials—basically, anything you’d want to stick in the ground—in addition to operating a landscaping and funeral decoration service, took 146 out of a total 253 votes cast.

“Colonial Gardens of course. Best selection around!,” wrote user , summing up a sentiment that’s, evidently, widely shared in the borough.

Placing second in the poll, but first in the heart of at least 92 readers, was , a Bridge Street landscaping supply company.
