'Spirited Artist' Voted Best Attraction in Phoenixville

We asked, you decided.

Per out weekly polling tradition, the question we put to you on Monday was this: if you had a day to kill with a friend or relative or some other out-of-towner, affable and game, and they asked to see the best individual thing Phoenixville has to offer, ?

It’s an important question—broad but personal, a sort of Rorschach test for the borough—and it drew a response in proportion to its importance.

and garnered some votes; and drew their fair share; and the received strong support as well. What it came down to, predictably, was this: or .

The Artist prevailed.

It was tight race, but in the end, the Bridge Street studio beat the Blob’s old stomping grounds out by a 119 to 111 vote—one of the closest in Phoenixville Patch Reader’s Choice award history.

Come by again on Sunday to see the full regional results.

I am going to guess that it opened within the past month or so. I drove by today and looked in and it was pretty full of people painting. Nice!

MANY thanks to everyone who voted for us! We are beyond excited!! It seems we've created quite a buzz since we opened on April 1st! For those of you who haven't 'Uncorked your Creative Spirit' yet, you can find us on Bridge Street in the former Hipster Home location. The Spirited Artist is the creation of a Phoenixville family who thought a BYOB art studio would be a perfect addition to Phoenixville's entertainment options! We got the idea after visiting family in New Orleans in October. When we saw these Sip-N-Paint studios all over NOLA, we knew it was cool enough for Phoenixville! Stop in the studio or check us out online at www.thespritedartist.com to see what we are all about. Mention 'The Patch' and save $5 per registration!
