13 Students Made Distinguished Honor Roll All Three Years at PAMS

11 of the students who pulled off the academic hat-trick are now freshman at the high school.

The following was provided by Phoenixville Area School District.

Achieving Distinguished Honor Roll status is a worthy goal for many students…making it all three years of Middle School sounds like a pipe dream. For 13 academically talented Phoenixville freshmen, it is a reality.

Dr. Frank Garritano, Principal at the Phoenixville Area Middle School, was proud to share the news of the most recent crop of middle school “graduates”.

“These students worked hard for all three years, and the result of that hard work is being recognized today,” said Garritano. A plaque with the students’ picture and accomplishments will proudly be displayed in the new PAMS building.

Of the thirteen students, 11 are attending Phoenixville Area High School, while the remaining two are enrolled in private schools. When asked the secret to their success, they had quick responses. “Don’t procrastinate.” “Study hard.” “Do your homework.” “Don’t wait until the night before a test tostudy.” “Be prepared.”
