Every PAHS Team Gears up to Take on the Same School

Bragging rights are on the line to kick off the fall sports season.

They call it the Route 29 Series and it's not just a road trip.. it's a more like a one weekend migration as every fall varsity team from Phoenixville Area High School travels down Route 29 to take on Great Valley High School.

It's the first official game of the year for the teams and it the school that wins the series will get bragging rights for the year.

Here are the details for the two day series of contests as outlined on the PASD website:

Each contest will be worth one point, with the winner of the entire weekend taking home the Devault Trophy and bragging rights for the entire year. Below is the schedule of events for the weekend, come out and support your Phantoms as the "Ville invades the Valley".


Friday

  • Boys Golf (at Pickering Valley) 3:30
  • Girls Golf (at Meadowbrook) 2:30
  • Boys and Girls Cross Country (a quad meet with GV, Haverford and Twin Valley @ GV) 4:30


Saturday (all games at Great Valley)

All Varsity games in the Stadium, JV games on an alternate field
  • Field Hockey 10:00
  • Girls Soccer 12:00
  • Boys Soccer 2:00
  • Girls Tennis 4:00
  • Volleyball 4:00
  • Football 7:00
