New Classrooms Come Together at East Pikeland Elementary

This will be the new home to four fifth grade classrooms.

Work continues on the new fifth grade classrooms at East Pikeland Elementary School.  The modular building arrived earlier this month and is being pieced together behind the school and on the edge of the athletic fields.

According to Phoenixville Area School District Spokeswoman Sandra Claus "there will be 4 classrooms (and) the modulars will be built so it looks like one large building.  The 5th grade classrooms will be housed in the modulars, which include bathroom facilities and air conditioning.  The location will be to the left of the playground—so, if you are on Seven Stars Road, it would be the far side of the building, away from the roads."

The building is expected to be complete by the end of July and furniture will be moved in during the first week of August.

Now that you see the modular building in place, what do you think?
