The Phoenixville Area School District is considering outsourcing its information/technology jobs.
The district is in discussions with DominionTek, a Virginia company, The Times Herald reports. No contracts have been signed yet.
The district said some positions may be outsourced in an effort to lessen response time to IT issues, The Times Herald says. But opponents say the move would cost four local positions.
