Phoenixville Education Foundation Has Record-Setting Fundraiser

The Phoenixville Community Education Foundation raised $71K at its 10th anniversary dinner.

Oh what a night!

The Phoenixville Community Education Foundation (PCEF) raised a record-setting $71,000 at its 10th Anniversary Dinner and Auction Fundraiser. The haul marks a 33 percent increase over last year’s event.

According to a release from the group, the dinner was held at the and nearly 400 guests attended. The fundraiser supports educational opportunities in the Phoenixville area.

The dinner and auction were organized over the course of months of hard work by co-chairs Cindy Stevens and Michele Caba and their committee of 15 volunteers. A host of local businesses donated products or gift certificates for the cause. These corporate sponsors included: CANDOR Consulting, Coastal Properties, Fox Rothschild LLP, Innovative Dentistry of Valley Forge, Law Offices of McDonnell & Associates, Phoenixville Hospital, Quantico Asset Management of Wells Fargo Advisors, and SRON LLC. 

For ten years, PCEF has supported education in the Phoenixville area, through programs like teacher mini-grants, college scholarships, after school tutoring, and Destinations with Direction which helps students prepare for college.
