New Executive Director Hired for Phoenixville Library

The following was submitted by the Phoenixville Public Library.

Phoenixville Public Library has undergone many wonderful changes over the past year and now welcomes a new Executive Director.  Lara Lorenzi comes to Phoenixville with experience and skill.  Ms. Lorenzi earned her Masters in Library Science from Drexel University and has been working in libraries in various capacities throughout her career.  She started as a teen librarian at the Ocean County Library in Barnegat, New Jersery, and advanced to branch manager at the Ocean County Library in Plumstead, New Jersey before becoming the Director at the William Jeanes Library in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania.

Lara is thrilled to become part of the Phoenixville community and to grow the Library to meet the needs of the area.  She states that she is “excited to begin this new adventure in my life and even more excited to meet the mission of the Library head on.”  She looks forward to providing the community with excellent service and access to vital information which allows Phoenixville to thrive.
