Phantoms Sports Roundup: Field Hockey Rolls Great Valley

The boys football and soccer teams took losses over the last week, while field hockey won 8-1.

With Labor Day firmly in the rear view mirror, many of us are grudgingly resigning ourselves to the end of summer. For Phoenixville High School athletes though, fall is already well underway.

  • Despite a sterling defensive effort, the Phantoms boys soccer team fell to Harriton 1-0.
  • In a battle of the Tornettas—Joe coaches Great Valley, while younger brother John leads Phoenixville—the Phantoms topped the Patriots 8-1 in field hockey action.
