The winners of the Camp Unforgettable/Camp SAFE talent show show off their Patch Prizes after taking first place in the talent show.

The show was moved inside from Park Reeves to the dry confines of Barkley Elementary. The girls did an amazing "cup dance" using plastic cups in rhythm. Three judges (including Phoenixville Patch Editor Bob Byrne) were unanimous in their decision of the winners while also noting the outstanding talent and courage displayed by all the performers who took a turn on stage in front of their friends and counselors.

The joint talent show included campers from The Phoenixville Recreation Department's Camp Unforgettable and the Summer Activity For Enrichment (SAFE) program which is sponsored by Phoenixville Area Positive Alternatives.

Camp Unforgettable closes its 2013 Season on Friday.

I was honored to be asked to be a judge for the talent show. We saw some great acts with singers, dancers, an artist and even a scientist. Congratulations to each of the campers who showed a lot of courage as well as talent as they got up on a huge stage to perform in front of two camps worth of campers, staff and family members. The winning act took home Patch tote bags, water bottles and pens along with movie tickets from another donor.
