Getting a hold of your finances can be overwhelming and stressful. Julie Brufke Wenger of Phoenix Tax Consultants in Phoenixville PA has created a list of 12 simple tasks to help you better understand for your future.

  1. List all Assets

  2. List all Debt Information and have a plan to reduce them and structure them to your advantage.

  • Determined you current net worth.

  • Prepare a current budget.

  • Prepare a projected retirement budget.

  • Have a vision of what you will need financially in your future.

  • Look at your cash flow , compared it to your expenses and reviewed ways to improve it.

  • Develop a savings plan to accommodate current and future needs.

  • Review your protection needs to avoid landmines in the event of death or disability.

  • Ensure that you are leaving your assets to your loved ones efficiently.

  • List upcoming expenses both necessary and discretionary and included a strategy to take of the needed items and reward with the desired items.

  • Create an awareness of special topics like saving for college, special needs children and Medicaid planning.
