TCHS Pickering cosmetology salon is open for business

The TCHS Pickering Salon is open for business! Under the supervision of instructor Debbie Neatock, high school students can provide services ranging from facials and haircuts to manicures and pedicures.

Not only are prices affordable - a haircut is only $5 and color service starts at $15! - by visiting the salon, you are helping train the cosmetologists of tomorrow. The valuable hands-on experience these students gain in the salon clinic enables them to become a cut above the rest in the beauty industry.

  • Permanent Wave $20
  • Color $15 and up
  • Foil $25 and up
  • Manicure $5
  • Pedicure $8
  • Facial $8
  • Waxing $2

About the TCHS Cosmetology program: Cosmetology is a Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry High Priority Occupation. With appropriate scheduling and good attendance, cosmetology students can earn the required hours for state licensing as a cosmetologist, nail technician, esthetician or natural hair braider before they graduate high school.
