Firebird is Rising, but Festival Needs Donations

As the Firebird Festival draws closer, the bird is rising in the middle of Friendship Field.  Organizers are still try to raise money to cover the cost of the private, non-governmental event.

Organizers posted this appeal on Facebook:  "With our fund raising campaign we only got a third of the way, and only 11 days left of the campaign. To this facebook page we have 3121 likes, yet only 88 donors, so I know we haven’t reached our potentials. The festival has been free in all these years, but for us it cost lots of money. This year we are trying it out this way – please help us making it a success, by making a donation. Thank you to those who already contributed."
