Five Places to Score Delicious Food This Weekend in Phoenixville

It's that time of year to fill up your bellies with some great eats.

Kitchens in and around Phoenixville were busy this week. 

It's the season for Christmas bazaars, cookies, turkey, breakfasts and all-around good food. Here are five delicious destinations for your weekend enjoyment.

The Rotary's big fundraiser features good pancakes, and it's an all-you-can-eat buffet with eggs, sausage and more. Head down to the Phoenixville Senior Center on Sunday morning to help the organization that puts all the funds raised back into the Phoenixville community. 

When: Sunday, Nov. 13, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Cost: $8 for adults, $5 for children

Score Eastern European favorites like pierogies, haluski, blind pigeons and more at this bazaar that will also feature vendor tables, crafts and baked goods. 

When: Friday, Nov. 11, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Cost: Free admission 

Prepare for Thanksgiving at the Phoenixville Farmers' Market 

This is the last weekend to order a turkey from Mountain View Poultry Farm. You can also enter a raffle to win a turkey and other treats. You can also stop by and order baked goods that will liven up upcoming holiday gatherings. 

When: Saturday, Nov. 12, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

Where: , under the Gay Street bridge in Taylor Alley

Order Homemade Holiday Cookies by Nov. 23 

Congregation B'Nai Jacob is selling homemade kosher cookies for Hanukkah. Choices include decorated sugar cookies, lemon poppy seed, double chocolate, biscotti, and two kinds of rugelach, and the cookies come in gift boxes decorated by the children in the Hebrew School. 

When: Orders are due by Nov. 23.

Score Ukranian food to eat there or take home, and find various vendors ready to get your shopping started early this year. Everyone is welcome.
