Phoenixville Hospital Donates $15,000 to Local Charities
The hospital wrote $5,000 checks to St. Mary's Shelter, PACS, and the Phoenixville Area Senior Center.
The Phoenixville Hospital Auxiliary recently donated $15,000 to three local organizations who serve our community. At a recent donation reception, Auxiliary President Deb Francis presented $5,000 each to St. Mary’s Shelter, Phoenixville Area Community Services (PACS), and the Phoenixville Area Senior Center.
St. Mary’s will put the money towards its capital campaign; PACS will add the $5000 to its emergency fund to help community members in need pay for mortgage, rent, and utilities; and the Senior Center will purchase a new dishwasher with the donation.
