Dozens of the Phoenixville area's best restaurants will be together for one night, in one place and for one price Thursday.

Dozens of the Phoenixville area's best restaurants will be together for one night, in one place and for one price Thursday.

They are taking part in the 12th annual Taste of Phoenixville event which benefits Good Samaritan Shelter.  It's a chance to eat, drink and be merry while helping support the men's shelter by tasting food from some of the region's most popular restaurants.

The event is Thursday night from 6-10 p.m. at the Foundry on Main Street (just north of Bridge Sreet.  Tickets are still available at www.tasteofphoenixville.com or by calling the Good Samaritan Shelter office at 610-933-9305.

You are invited to Phoenixville’s premier food+wine+beer+festival event will take place on Thursday, January 16, 2014 from 6-10 p.m. at the Phoenixville Foundry.  A Taste of Phoenixville, now in its 12th year, raises funds for the Good Samaritan Shelter. 

The event will again feature live music and dancing, an auction and all the fine food you can eat.  Tickets are on sale for $85.  Ample parking is available.

The Phoenixville Foundry, located at 2 Main St. in Phoenixville, is the newest and largest special event place in Chester County with 18,000 square feet of flexible event space. Once the site of the Phoenix Iron and Steel Company, Phoenixville Foundry is a unique blend of Richardson-Romanesque-Style industrial charm and interior modern amenities that add an elegant sophistication to every occasion.

Since 2002 the Good Samaritan Shelter has been serving the needs of homeless men in the greater Phoenixville area.  Today, the organization owns 5 buildings on High St. and provides shelter and services to over 100 men annually.  For more information about the Good Samaritan Shelter visit www.goodsamshelter.org
