They also offer hand stamp on occasion. Every Wednesday and Friday night is family night (6-10pm).Read More $10 hand stamp. It doesn't include the coaster, but most rides are about $1 each so you can easily get your money's worth. We went Friday night and had a blast. The park even sponsors family friendly concerts. There was a Beatles tribute band playing Friday night. The park is clean and well shaded. I grew up near the park and can't say enough about how great a place it is for summer fun.

As for the complaints about the use of the word "free"...let me give you an example...Read More Friday night my father came to the park to watch his grandson ride the rides. He parked for free, walked around with us for a couple hours, enjoyed a Beatles tribute concert and then headed home without spending a dime. What other amusement park can a grandparent enjoy time with their family without having to pay for parking or admission? Maybe Patch should say free-admission park for clarity

It was a great place to go years ago - like a well kept secret, safe from the usual obnoxious crowdsRead More that descend on vacation spots. Word of mouth has wrecked it IMO. Too crowded and a much less civilized crowd - not the happy lot of years ago.

I recommend watching the I Have a Dream speech with young people. This remarkable man conceptualizedRead More a colorblind society where our kids would be judged not by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. He dismissed violence and taught us that we are what we think. We must think of one another as individuals, with respect and disregard of race.
