Police: Phoenixville Man Charged After Multiple Thefts from Auto
The alleged thefts were from unlocked vehicles in Covered Bridge Crossing.
A Phoenixville man faces multiple charges after police say he and a group of accomplices stole items from unlocked cars parked in Covered Bridge Crossing in September. Eric McCormick, 21, was charged six counts of theft from a motor vehicle, four counts of receiving stolen property, and additional counts of loitering and prowling at night, disorderly conduct, conspiracy to commit theft from a motor vehicle, and knowledge that property is proceeds of an illegal act after he admitted to the series of alleged thefts. According to court documents, McCormick and two passengers were pulled over on September 13 on the 200 block of Schuylkill Road by an East Pikeland Police officer.
