Dr. Don Meyer became president of Valley Forge Christian College on January 1, 1997.  VFCC is an Assemblies of God college located on 106 acres just outside of Philadelphia in the beautiful rolling countryside of historic Chester County.  The college was founded in 1939.  VFCC is accredited with the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and offers 25 undergraduate majors and 4 graduate majors.

 Dr. Meyer began his academic journey at Central Bible College in Springfield, MO where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree.  He went on to earn a M.A. at Wheaton Graduate School in Wheaton, IL and his Ph.D. at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN.

Dr. Meyer served for 21 years at North Central University (formerly North Central Bible College) as professor (3 years) and Vice President, Academic Affairs (18 years).

Prior to accepting the position at NCBC, Dr. Meyer, an ordained Assemblies of God minister, pastored for 7 years in Pennsylvania.  He has spoken at camps, retreats, seminars, and churches in the United States and overseas with extensive ministry in Europe and Africa.  He has contributed articles to various Christian publications and journals.

Dr. Meyer is a native of Lebanon, Pennsylvania.  He and his wife Evie have two sons, Darin and Kevin, and one grandson, Noah.
