Frozen Yogurt Spot Coming to Bridge Street

Yum Yum Yogurt is opening just in time for spring.

Spring is just around the corner. And just in time for the warm weather, Phoenixville is getting a new frozen yogurt business.

On March 14, Dean Mazzotta, a Lansdale-based real estate developer, is opening Yum Yum Yogurt at 178 Bridge Street.

"We're trying hard [to get the shop ready]," the owner said this week. "Then we're going to have the grand opening later on."

The eatery will boast outdoor seating and 10 delicious yogurt flavors complimented by over 40 toppings. When the business opens its doors on Thursday, the initial flavor lineup will include Tropical Sorbet, Wild Strawberry, Birthday Cake, Tahitian Vanilla, Cookies and Cream, Dreamy Dark Chocolate, Cupcake, Espresso, Old Fashioned Peanut Butter, and Sea-salt and Carmel Pretzel.

Hours will be 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday, and 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekends.

Yum Yum is also still filling out its opening staff. Mazzotta said anyone interested in applying for positions ranging from closing staff to shift manager can swing by the store anytime during the week to fill out an application.

He said his hopes are high, for his store, and the downtown it now calls home.

"Phoenixville is a hot area," he said, smiling.

And a perfect place for a cold treat.
